Summer in the North 2019: North Bay

Are you Canadore College bound this fall? You may have experienced North Bay already, but why not make another trip up this summer! Only 3 hours north of Toronto, a weekend away from the city will do you some good.

Here are some exciting events you can enjoy this summer in North Bay:

Canada Day Celebrations – July 1, 2019

Join the people of North Bay for a day of culture, food, music and more! Participate in the Canada Day Road Race, a Multicultural Showcase which highlights the diversity of North Bay through music, song, dance, and other artistic forms.

Visit the “Ablaze – Firefighting in North Bay” exhibit at the North Bay Museum. Enjoy live music at the Kiwanis Band shell, and finish the day off with a Fireworks Finale.

7th Annual Ribfest – July 12-14 2019

Hangry? Well we have one word for you…Ribfest.

Prepare yourself for North Bay’s largest Food and Music festival. You and 20,000 of your closest friends can indulge in a fine assortment of finger licking good ribs with the best secret sauces known to man, and follow that up with live music and activities all while raising needed funds of Community Living North Bay!

North Bay Pride Week – July 17th to 20th

You’re invited to dance, march, cruise, and raise the flag and promote understanding and awareness during Pride 2019. Help encourage everyone, whatever their gender or sexual orientation, to feel safe and accepted, to openly be themselves, and to love whomever they love.

Bay Block Party – August 10th

The Bay Block Party is a food and music festival that takes place in the heart of downtown North Bay. Showcasing fantastic musical performances and great local breweries, wineries, and distilleries you won’t want to miss out on this free outdoor event.
